Delivery/ Self-collection Options

Weekday delivery is available at $12 ($13.08 incl GST). The delivery window for a weekday is 9am - 5pm. We are unable to promise a fixed delivery time frame on the delivery day that you have selected. Earliest delivery date will be at the next available weekday slot that you can select from the calendar during check-out.

While we strive to ensure a seamless delivery experience, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery window. Please note that delivery timings may be subject to factors such as route optimisation, unforeseen incidents, such as vehicle faults/ unexpected traffic, which can occasionally occur on the delivery day. We truly appreciate your understanding in this matter.
For specific delivery windows, this service involves engaging a trusted partner like Lalamove, which requires an additional cost. Feel free to get in touch with us at hello@thedarkgallery.com if you'd like to opt for this delivery service.


If you are unable to choose from the calendar, the day’s delivery slots are already full. If you need delivery on the blocked day in the calendar, please choose Express Delivery for $26 ($28.34 incl GST). Please put your preferred delivery date in the Order Notes.

*Please note that we are unable to accept same-day delivery requests.

Weekend delivery is available at $22 ($23.98 incl GST). The delivery window for a weekend is 10am - 4pm. We are unable to promise a fixed delivery time frame on the delivery weekend that you have selected. If you are unable to choose from the calendar a weekend date, we are unable to cater to more deliveries for that weekend. Please opt for self-collection instead.

Self-collection is available at Millenia Walk, Takashimaya, Great World, or Funan between 12pm - 9pm. Kindly place your orders at least +4 days in advance, i.e. orders placed on Monday before 12pm can be collected earliest on Friday. If your preferred date is unavailable for selection, please leave your preferred date in the Order Notes (right below the calendar). Please select the correct shipping method during payment (according to your delivery date) to avoid any delays to your order processing. We will reach out to you via email to confirm your selected date. Please take note that a re-delivery fee will be applicable if a second delivery is required.

General

How should I store my food?

Many of our products are temperature sensitive in nature, thus it is advisable to ensure someone is present at your delivery location to receive and handle your orders promptly!

Ice-cream cakes and pints should be placed in a freezer immediately upon receiving, until ready to be served. Chocolates and macarons should be stored chilled, while our signature cakes are good to stay at room temperature if you are consuming it on the same day. 

 

Refunds/Cancellations

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?

We typically do not accept any cancellations or refunds of orders once the order is placed and the payment is processed (including double orders by mistake). Although, on a case to case basis, if a refund is made, a charge of 4.5% will be imposed as the bank charges this amount upon every successful payment.

 

Ice Cream Cakes

What are the ice cream cakes made of?

Our cakes are fully made with our artisanal ice cream, sitting on a thin layer of baked chocolate cake (contains gluten & eggs), and decorated with cream, chocolates, and other toppings.

 

Are the cakes gluten-free, egg-free or halal?

Our ice cream is gluten-free and egg-free, but the chocolate cake layer isn't. We do not use any alcohol or pork-based ingredients in any of our products.

 

Can I customise or change the ice cream flavour of the cake?

If you would like to change the ice cream flavour, we do charge a surcharge of $25 and the order has to be placed 9 days in advance. For other customisations such as themed decorations, we do them on a case by case basis with prices starting from $199.

 

How should I store the ice cream cake?

Place the ice cream cake in a freezer (-18 degrees celsius) immediately after collection to maintain the texture of the ice cream cake and to prevent it from melting. You are encouraged to take the cake out of the freezer 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into it.

 

Standard Cakes

What are the cakes made of?

Our standard cakes contain dairy, eggs, and gluten. No alcohol or pork-based ingredients is used.

 

Can I customise or change the flavour of the cake?

We do not provide customisation for standard cakes.

 

How should I store the cake?

For our signature cakes with buttercream, you can leave the cake at room temperature if consuming on the same day. If you have to keep the cake in the refrigerator, please take the cake out from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature at least 2 hours before consumption to allow the cake to soften in texture (if the cake is cold, it feels harder and dryer.)

For our specialty cakes with fresh cream, keep the cakes chilled and you can serve right out from the fridge. 

 

Chocolates & Macarons

How should I store the chocolates & macarons?

Our chocolates should be stored in a cool, dry place (10C - 18C), while our macarons should be kept chilled (4C - 6C). Best consumed within a week.
